Knowledge of AI tools is becoming ESSENTIAL to Businesses.
Here is my list of AI tools every marketer should use to boost your productivity:
↳ Perplexity - it replaced Google for me at least 50% of the time. It’s scans the content and summarizes it for you providing the links to the source of information.
↳ Otter.ai - note taker during your every meeting. It makes the summary and sends out minutes to all of the attendees.
↳ Tugan.ai - it transforms any content (youtube videos, articles, or websites) into original, world-class content that you can use for your social media, newsletters etc.
“Ads didn’t work for us, now we are focusing on the influencer marketing instead.” - he said.
❌ It is a flawed assumption that you can have one without the other.
✅ You want to have influencer marketing supported by the ads.
Think about your own purchasing behavior.
How many times do you research, visit websites, read comparison articles, watch YouTube review videos before you make a purchasing decision?
On average it's thought that between 6 - 9 touch points are needed to convert a sale.
SIX to NINE
And those all include your ads, influencers, website, amazon, emails, media articles, in-store retail.
Here is how to cut ad production cost and save time.
💥 Learn from the best:
Kenny West, aka Ye, promoted his Yeezy brand literally filming himself, selfie-style, in the back of a car, giving a quick explainer of what he was selling.
The spot cost him $7 million and according to one of his representatives generated $19 million in sales on a single day.
WHAT?
Sounds crazy, right?
From now on this is going to be my go-to example of DIY ad content next time I hear a bread saying: “ugly” content is NOT ON BRAND.
This is how you do it:
“We tried to run ads but didn’t see any returns”- he said.
Been there? Me too.
I had to dive deeper. Here is what I found:
💡 Creative variation
Only 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲 of creative been tested, that is - 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲.
Not video. Not carousel. But static image.
And that’s on Instagram and Facebook.
⁉️ When was the last time you clicked on a static image ad?
✍️ Copy variation.
2 variations been tested at a time:
◆ Urgency focused
◆ Benefit focused
Campaign lasted for 30 days. Five variations were tested during that time.
My take on it:
“I want to dominate the US market”, - he said.
Ambitious, right?
Today I spoke to a founder who wants to become a world class number one consumer tech brand in his niche.
So we talked and agreed I will help him with the website audit.
What did I find?
❌ Typos and grammar mistakes on every single page.
✅ I get it, I’m also not a native English speaker, but there is an easy fix.
✅ Install and set up a Grammarly account, it’ll flag all the mistakes for you.
❌ Last year promotion when we are in the middle of the first quarter.
✅ Run a promotions calendar with a clearly defined when, what, where.
✅ Make it a good practice to prepare for a promotion at least one-two months in advance;
Now that’s a wrap for #ces2024. If you were following the event I’m sure you’ve already read how great it was and how excited everyone was to meet and greet each other. And that’s all true. CES is my favorite show of the year. There’s nothing like it and if you're in the consumer tech, you have to attend it at least once in your life.
Here’s what stood out to me at CES this year:
1. Majority of the new brands outside of the US are looking to enter the US market with the help of the distributors. If only it was that easy. Expectation: I sell off my product to the distributor, he will promote my brand, invest into marketing, hassle showcasing my product to the big-box retail buyers to get me in-store. That’s how I win the market.
Reality: The US distributors may agree to ...
